Raising Beauty

Music, art, and words call in and through me
as sentences with active verbs ~ bright acts
waking their subjects and predication.

Here lust for peace and equality thrives
in run-on sentences, revision after
revision varying the length of lines.

Forging a way to justice grounds day and night:
Digging for peace and dignity.  Co-creating
and transforming.  Sans envy, sans regret.

Beauty never had material properties,
just truthing, feeding and growing
relationship among equals. Glowing.

If listening, laughing and resting here seem calm,
imagine raising anything without their balm.

There is no greater love than a lust for life and to share it with a loved one. Then there is nothing sadder than to see someone that does or cannot not enjoy the life they have been given.

Lust for peace and equality... much needed indeed! Instead we see only the shameless craving for power and wealth and destruction.

If justice was a sentence, I would love it run on and on and on and on... for all.

We need that lustful exchange for peace and equality so much now. A sane poem for today’s madness.

Lust for peace seemed to be held back by protracted negotiations governed by hidden agendas of the parties involved! It is a pity as those on the ground suffer all the while!

I enjoyed reading. So much to long for, to lust for, to desire.
