Villages tend Peace
like food, cultivating by
hand and in person.

A Fountain of Youth
central to all—Peace quenches
thirst freely, fairly

Let's imagine it
now, here, building with stone soup—
Perfect!  Possible!

Written for blogblast4peace.com and for Kerry's "Poetry for Peace"--her surprise "Sunday Mini-Challenge" at Imaginary Gardens with Real Toads.   The thing is, the fountain requires daily care and daily drinking, it dies from laziness and inattentiveness.  It takes a "village" to raise and praise Peace. My blog for 11/4 Blog4peace is Dona Nobis Pacem.
