If we are already dead
(if our planet is dying),
I won't hide under the snow, but
will take the pit out from my stomach
and watch it resolve to glow
despite, because, time after time
resolve means re-solving.
Finding the solution in my belly
is growth. Grow. Glow.
No stopping, no pity, only kindness.
Listen for the kin in kind.

This is wonderful, Susan, the kin in kind, the re-solving. No other way to go but forward. So nice to see you at earthweal.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the wordplay enlarges the words.
ReplyDeleteI like your positivity here. Sometimes I have to remember not to give up hope and continue trying to do some good and of course be kind!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully expressed!
ReplyDeleteThis, I think, is the gift of living already dead. More alive to the kin in kind. Well done and thanks for response to the challenge. - Brendan
