De Light Full

Source

Because light is, we know the dark.
Because dark is, we know the light.
We delight in wiggling our toes in both
if they are kindly and inviting. The toes.
And light and dark. They warm to each other.

A muscular spreading of toes allows
water and earth and air in between them.
Dark and light smiles spread from foot bottom to
head top—a glowing and inviting peace.
An easy peace. Seek it out. Let it be.

Silence grabs our lips. Silence holds the pens
in our hands. Wait for it. A divine push—
soft as light and dark, easy as inner
peace—will come. Waiting for it, we don’t waste
ink. We don’t waste time. We make friends with it.

So many strangers. Many possible
friendships. May as well count the grains of sand
hugging us and each other, waiting to
become rock again, such good memories
of unity. We want to make them now.

  1. "kindly and inviting" So amazing to be in this little space. And all we need is "A divine push-".
