Voila!!
Me On Top
of life's mountain
where heat crackles
rock
and spews word
splinters so
brittle and broken my
perch
races me down, down ~
Hawk! Morning
Dove! Grab my two
hands! Lend me your winged-
way down and
Sisyphus-like I will climb ...

This is wonderful ... the energy, the visual images!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun read, almost like a picture...smiles
ReplyDeleteI agree...there is such energy to this.. I love the call to the Hawk and Morning Dove to grab your hands!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have friends along the way who may render the help if we need it when we're down. For it often goes against the trend that the rug is pulled from under one's feet when one needs it most! Great take Susan!
