Words and Tunes

I want to remember the words.

Always, even as I hear them,

they slide out of my mind. They ask

me back. They don't want me to leave.

So I'll remain and rehear.  Fine.

But when did my intention leak?

I seek the power to hold tunes  

and lyrics in my willing heart.

My blog poems are rough drafts.
